What do I get for my money?
Please see our Why Us page for details on how we operate. We will operate during term time only which amounts to 37 weeks in total (Year 11 and Year 13 are 35 week courses due to their final exams being taken around mid June). Each lesson is two hours. You can find a copy of our term dates and due dates for fees on our APPLY section.
What equipment is needed?
A pen, pencil, ruler and a green pen for self marking. Standard equipment provided in a geometry set is advised. Calculator models for GCSE that is advised is the CASIO fx-85GT PLUS and for A-Levels is the CASIO fx-250 graphical calculator.
Which exam boards do you cover?
Most of our pupils take examinations with Edexcel and occasonally with OCR. If there is content in other syllabuses not covered in class, then students will be given additional support in the form of online lessons created by us and extra worksheets.
What if my child is ill?
We will provide all of the necessary support to allow your child to catch up with the content (particularly through the use of our online platform, see the community of learning section of our Why Us page)
What if my child wants to start mid term?
This is possible provided there is space, however we highly advise that you try to start at the beginning of the school year so no learning is missed.
Do you teach other subjects?
Can I pay by cheque or cash
We do not accept cash, however cheque's are accepted payable on the first lesson. However, by waiting until the first lesson you run the risk of another student paying prior to it which means you could lose your place.
How often is homework set?
Weekly. The quantity of homework varies week by week.
